It sounds fake, right? It actually sounds crazy. [ JJ sounds a little crazy himself tbh. ] But you know what, everything about this is crazy. And what if it's true? What if it never goes away or—

[ He cuts himself off, all the talk about death starting to freak him out. Never mind that he'd been the one to bring it up. ]

In times like this, it's important to remain calm. I've heard nothing about anyone dying due to sickness. And as far as I can tell, everyone is cooperating to try to discern just what has happened, and why. [ and most importantly, don't bang anyone out of weird desperation. ]

If nothing else, have faith in the people supporting you.

[ Well, it's hard to panic when Siegfried is speaking so calmly. JJ brings his phone closer to his head, as if he could absorb some of that attitude just through proximity. ]

Yeah... [ It's a nicer idea to latch onto at least, even if JJ can't entirely shake the feeling that it's more serious than just a cold. ] Having the flu sucks, but it's just a minor inconvenience. Even if it's a magic flu, if it were deadly, something would've happened by now.

Perhaps a walk outside would improve your mood? [ maybe not what sick people should be doing, but siegfried's never been the type to be able to stand remaining cooped up inside. ] I could accompany you to make sure nothing happens.

[ Siegfried is talking JJ's language now: he hates staying inside for extended periods of time. The bedrest is killing him just as much as the sickness. ]
