[ her own enthusiasm is rather infectious, as siegfried begins digging with renewed fervor as well. he's not entirely sure this is the correct spot, so he occasionally glances around to make sure no one is objecting to them doing this.
but... so far, it seems like no one really cares. until the sand of metal hitting metal, anyway. ]

[ it's not that he didn't trust the map, but... well, maybe deep down, he truly didn't believe it would yield results. siegfried moves over, clearing the sand around the object and... discovering that they've found a small chest.
